On Tuesday the 16th of June 2026, 6 JMCS members went on an evening walk up Dumgoyne. It was a driech evening but nobody was caring as it was a good excuse to get away from a computer screen and domesticity for a few hours. We took a lesser known circular route via the village of Killearn, starting off in thick heather, and finishing off on the well maintained water board track that trailed back to Killearn again next to the Dumgoyne distillery. The round trip took slightly less than 3 hours to get up and down the pudding shaped hill.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was great to meet new people who came from different parts of Scotland.
