A new hut for us. Brackenclose is located in Wasdale Head and provided fantastic access (and parking!) for the excellent climbing on Scarfell and walking and scrambling on and around Scarfell, Scarfell Pike and all the surrounding hills. Buckbarrow provides an alternative climbing destination if poorer weather or tired legs dictate.
