A surprisingly small turnout given the lovely weather. Maybe everyone was still sunburnt from sailing, climbing in the Lakes & Chamonix, or just saving their energy for the Brazil game the following night.
Just Pete and Jeremy went up the Cobbler with sunhats and lots of water. They climbed Whether Wall (via the start of Moonlight Arete by mistake, for extra excitement) and Club Crack, enjoying the dry rock, fine views, starry saxifrage, etc etc and descended before the midges got too bad.
